This is my inspiration diary. Everything I am, hope to be, and dream about. I'm just looking for love.

When sadness was the sea, you were the one that taught me to swim.

Anonymous asked: why do you quote those specific lines?

I love that quote from the book because I like the idea of people having different identities in different situations, but at the end of the day, in the arms of the one you love, you are your truest self. Humbert and Lolita’s situation is very complex, but I think it’s romantic, the idea of a man holding you in his arms, no matter how wrong it may be. Although in his case, it’s more infatuation than true love, because he says that’ll he’ll love Lolita forever, but she won’t be forever Lolita.

Anonymous asked: Have you read lolita?

Yes.

She was Lo, plain Lo, in the morning, standing four feet ten in one sock. She was Lola in slacks, she was Dolly at school. She was Dolores on the dotted line. But in my arms she was always - Lolita. Light of my life, fire of my loins. My sin. My soul.

—Vladimir Nabokov

Someone’s been trying to tell me something. ‘Make her yours forever,’ and I’m working on the forever part.
